The Thalassa PHD, Spacial S3HD and Spacial SFHD ranges fulfil the requirements of diverse outdoor electrical applications for various industries, including water and waste water, transportation, telecom and OEM. Suitable for public and private settings, the new enclosures are engineered to meet the three main challenges of outdoor installations: weathering variables, human interactions, and installation constraints by ensuring improved protection of critical electrical equipment installed and continuity of service.
Combined with the ClimaSys™ thermal management solutions, sensitive electronic equipment is better protected by maintaining the correct humidity and temperature balance. To further optimize performance, the updated ProClima thermal calculation software now uses location-specific, aggregated weather data to make estimation of specific thermal requirements easier. Additionally, users can explore “what if” scenarios for varying climatic conditions and enclosure configurations. Every outdoor heavy duty enclosure is engineered to resist the effects of water, dust, sun radiation and vandalism, while offering up to IP66 rating and up to IK 10 of mechanical protection.
Renewed ClimaSys cooling systems
The upgraded ClimaSys™ CU range of cooling units and ClimaSys CE range of heat exchangers feature design improvements to optimize cooling and energy efficiency for a broad range of equipment and installation requirements. Cooling units feature an integrated alarm system and can handle ambient temperatures up to 55 0C. Exchangers tackle highly polluted environments, with air-air exchangers ideal for food and beverage plants, and air-water exchangers suited for where no external air circuit is available. Models include a choice of roof and side mounting, or slim models for space-saving installation on enclosure doors. Steel, stainless steel, and new heavy-duty outdoor units satisfy specific needs of various applications. Time-saving features include easy-to-clean grilles and filters, and a QR code on each device that can be scanned with a smart phone to access product information online. The upgraded ProClima thermal calculation software streamlines and simplifies product selection and specification process.
Digital Rules software suite
Digital Rules software suite lets users independently and quickly send the right working bill of material to sales representatives, thus reducing purchasing lead time and improving procurement efficiency. The users simply input the enclosure dimensions and the software automatically shortlists the compatible accessories and thermal management solutions. Direct links to datasheets offer further product information. A free plug-and-play application, Digital Rules is available in up to 9 languages (range dependent) and can be downloaded or used online for most of Schneider Electric enclosure ranges.
