The Foundation
The Schneider Electric Youth Opportunities Foundation
Created in 1998 under the aegis of the "Fondation de France", the Schneider Electric Youth Opportunities Foundation incarnates the Group’s values of commitment and solidarity.
400 Schneider Electric sites mobilised in 70 countries, supporting 350 associative projects … For the last 5 years, the Schneider Electric Foundation has been helping young people living close to Group sites to find their place in society.
The Foundation also proposes major operations or events such as Luli, the international mobilisation campaign. Its originality: the involvement of its employees.
In 2006:
More than 75% of the Group's sites participated in Luli, providing support for 205 associations.
Targets for 2008:
- Donate Euro 1 000 000 worth of Schneider Electric equipment
- Ensure that 90% of our sites have a lasting commitment with the Schneider Electric Foundations in the area of youth opportunities
